Freedom?

I once said that the only difference between school and prison was razor wire. It appears that police states always want to take your liberty away. They say it is to keep you safe and secure.

Truth be told, those who are foolish enough to trade away their freedoms soon find that they are living in a repressive regime. 1984 was a taste of what many see as their daily life in a society that is post consumer.

Police states are always passing laws and making everything illegal. If you take a photo they claim it is for a bad purpose. If you publish anything against them you are arrested for spreading ugly rumors. Freedom of speech is replaced with "hate speech" legislation.
