Asteroid Apophis is coming

Russia plans to stop Asteroid Apophis and put an end to this rocky rouge. It is scheduled to hit in 2036. Interesting as John Titor did not say anything about it. Then again he was from a different world line than us.

John Bajak's Fluxcap

John Bajak Fluxcap is easy to build. It requires some simple tools. The parts are available at your local Radio Shack. In fact, it should take you only a few minutes to do a mock up using a bread board. We can thank John Bajak for his easy to build device that makes a strange sound.

Future music

Tragically, people who think future music is like techno are in for a surprise. The emphasis is on being able to survive. Sadly, silence is the sound of the days to come. It is like a tomb for everyone. In the future there is no music.

Youtube - the early days

John Titor said that in 2036 people created their own entertainment and that TV was over internet nodes that were super WiFi, so WELL, Youtube is here, plus that world is not far away. In fact, we are seeing now a new way. Instead of broadcast TV people create content and make their own movies. This was not possible in 2000 because bandwidth was expensive. However in 2009 we see getting broadband connection is cheap and super easy.

Pounded at the pump

World oil prices shot up. They are over 75 now. This is due to trouble in the middle east. I would love for things to calm down, but that part of the world is a very unstable region.

OK soon you will see gas prices over $3. Expect this as soon as next year. The current economic crisis did reduce oil prices, but we are seeing China expand its need for petroleum resources.

It appears one fine day, the norway spiral. OK some say the norway spiral is a rocket from russia. Others say it is the strange northern lights of an aurora. However, that does not add up. It is my take we are dealing a vortex created using super secret scalar waves.

Obama versus Fat Cat

It is Obama versus Fat Cat. Taking a populist note he wants to bash bankers. Well, I for one wonder why it took so long for him to wake up. Time to stop feeding greedy banker pigs.

Do you ever wonder what the future will look like? I do, and it seems so cold and sterile - like a technological laboratory made for robots. Certainly lacking in human warmth, but with a chilly dry desert air.

Food banks report more people are using resources. In fact, we are still sinking fast. The dow is dropping link a rock. However, debunkers say everything is fine. They call the unemployed - lazy bums, when our jobless rate is at a 26 year high and rising. Sadly, our gov claims we are in a recovery. That reminds me of the 1930's when people said - prosperity is just around the corner.

Walmart and amazon are fighting a price war. OK as for the question of who wins. Well, answer is - clicks are cheaper than bricks. Those giant stores cost a lot of money. Thing of all the employees, heating the store in winter, cooling it in summer. Another nail in the coffin of retail stores is rising gas prices.

Low interest rates threaten recovery?

China says low US interest rates threaten global economic recovery. This is a true story. Bank bailouts and gift loans to major financial institution did prevent people from putting more money in savings. With CD rates at below 3% it is less than inflation so there is little incentive to save money.

Saturday, November 14, 2009

Home prices

Superspectacular massive decline in real estate valuations. Home prices fell in 80% of metropolitan areas. Folks, single every region of the country was hit hard by our severe economic recession. As more people lose jobs, even more homes are thrown into foreclosure, forcing downward pressure on prices. While our gov props up Wall Street, main street houses are in woe.

gold roars on to record

High angle view of gold coins with gold biscuits and bricks photo

It is now over 1,100 and rising. The yellow metal is truly golden now. Lust we for those lustful precious metals and desire to buy gold tried by fire. Decline in the dollar set gold on record now. However, it is much more than a weakness in paper currency, because as we know soaring gold prices are sign that people are in complete panic.

Fear of Fascism

People, I have - Fear of Fascism. That is I am afraid government around the world will use our depression, yes I said depression to create a totalitarian state. Back in germany, authorities used the economic crisis to take away people's liberty. Already we see in US some danger signals. For example, no one is allowed to critize our prez. If they do, they are called racist. All this new "hate speech" legislation is to ban free speech. It is time to wake up.

Here is a John Titor movie about a time traveller from 2036 who came in a GE C204 temporal distortion device to the year 2000. It has major characters such as John, Pamela (girl he liked), etc. The only problem is the movie is in Italian. Still, you can see it and enjoy. People, many John Titor predictions about the future have already come true. For example, one prediction that John Titor gave was that in the future people created their own entertainment over the internet - this is before Youtube.

can we save our car companies

Ford looks like it may survive. However the picture for Chrysler is far from rosy. There are questions of if Fiat really can save Chrysler. Perhaps this is all part of a plan to destroy competition by removing. If so, we could see even greater job losses ahead as the company completely is gone. For Chysler to survive, profits need to appear.

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

Far future is fun

What can we say, the far future is fun. It will have much less pollution or crime. The people will not worry all the time about losing their job or not being able to pay.

In fact, this world would seem like a utopia now. However, there is one cloud on our horizon - it is greedy execs. Right now no one on earth should starve. All children could be able to get an education, but instead a few fat cat execs, hoard all the money.

Set clock back

Please remember to set clock back an hour. As the saying goes, spring forward fall back. I wonder if time travellers also will set their clocks back. Well, guess they are more aware of time than we are. Perhaps this will make things seem different, but I use my guide as noon.

Steampunk future?

What do we do when the oil runs out? Will it be a steampunk future where we once again turn to coal and engines run on vapors? The old choo choo trains could be pulled out of moth balls to run once again. OK many people are fascinated with the steamy mechanogoth clockwork world of the victorian age.

It somehow seems so dark and broody, like a post apocalyptic dystopian future. Perhaps we will yet again return to steam as old is new.

stars our destination

As terra is my nation, the stars are my destination. This is a line from a poem written by one Alfred Bester, a famous science fiction author. And yet, we do yearn to travel among the stars. If anything science speaks to a deep yearning we have to fly above the heavens.

SSD in woe

At one time I thought SSD or Solid State Drives would replace our current hard drives. This was suppose to be the wave of our future. A product that was faster, quieter, smaller, more energy efficient, etc. Well, now it comes out that SSD flash pc drives are not high reliability.

These drives break down all the time. Hey, so guess that technology will not take off for a bit. People who bought SSD are now angry.

A large chunk of the San Francisco bridge fell yesterday. Bay bridge is closed indefinitely awaiting repair. What more evidence do we need that California is in a bad state of repair. This points to crumbling infrastructure. People, painted over rust is not solid. This state is literally falling apart, and snapping at the seams.

E-trading?

Electronic trading is great because you move electrons rather than paper. However, E-trade is doing worse. Last year they lost 9 cents per share. This year it is 66 cents per share. Expect that people are spending less this year. All results point to a coming currency catastrophe where the dollar is replace by the euro. It seems that our economy is now worsening.

Monday, October 26, 2009

Red China raising euros now dumps dollars

They call it diversification. Well, we all like diversity right? Red China is diversifing into other currency. In other words, Red China is buying euros and dumping the dollar. What else can you expect from an enemy. From a country that has missiles pointed at us.

amazon surges

Ebay sees sales plumment, while its rival amazing amazon surges to an all time high. The reason is that while amazon makes like for affiliates easy. There is a very different story from Ebay. In fact, sellers are leaving Ebay in droves because Ebay has been changing the rules. They force people to use their service Paypal and do not allow personal checks or money orders.

Cutthroat Christmas

MacroRetailers see a Cutthroat Christmas as tax increases on consumers wage war on income. Profits will decrease even more. Losses will have a massive increase. People, our gov says macro economy is improving. However, I see an empty mall with many stores closing.
