GE dying

1930 Antique Radio photo
GE is worst performing stock in the dow. It use to be GM, but they went under and are no longer part of the dow. The only companies to survive in the dow from 1800's are GM & GE. These two generals will soon not exist.

John Titor said that in 2036 General Electric made the GE C204 Time Machine, but on our timeline GE does not survive. This will soon take place.

Inflation

In the very near future, inflation will be back. This is because the government has printed too many green pieces of paper. Sadly, I got few of these, but the banks got many. They will use them to pump up a false economy.

The rising national debt causes inflation. Tragic truth is that we are running out of road.

Robot Girfriend?

Sega created a minature robot girlfriend for lonely men. Hope it comes with batteries included. That said, it is a very grim commentary on our age.

I believe we will see more androids in the future, but this story sounds like something from CarlosX Robot Repairman.

Dollar going down

Max Keiser said the dollar was doomed. OK many nations want to move away from dollar and to euro. At a short term US could float an amero. The new dominant world currency will not be an amero, but instead the euro. People no longer trust US economics.

GM bankruptcy kills suppliers

There are many reasons why GM cannot recover. For one, gas price are going up. Also, the market for automobiles is way down as consumers have trouble getting car loans. Also, GM bankruptcy is killing suppliers of vital car parts. The entire automotive industry is in a crisis.

Sadly, many automotive manufacturers are seeling part suppliers fold like a tent. I predict that sales of cars next year will be even worse.

Jobless rate goes up

Paperwork
Job losses continue to grow. Governments are forced to increases taxes as they run out of money. The recovery was a false mirage. Workers worry that they may soon lose their jobs are our economic crisis gets worse.

Markets plunge

Markets plunge on economic worry. The so call recovery is a mirage. Politicians gambled and lost. What we see now is more pain. As people lose jobs, foreclosures are on rise.

Predictions

Tragically, there is one HDRKID prediction that did not come true. The replacement of DVD with HD. Bluray as in physical media is dying. In fact, go to any Blockbuster store and most movies are in DVD. The promise digital future never came. Unlike the move from VHS tapes to DVD disks, the predictions of migrations to HD did not take place.

This is important because if it had, sales of big screen LCD TV would have take off and new movies would be made for consumption in bluray, but the bulk of sales is in the old DVD formats, and as time goes by they will be downloaded off the net.

Stock Market Plunge

Things in NYC are bad as stock market plunges. It appears that very grim news is coming out about interest rates. Treasury bills are not selling. World is in trouble. Sadly, our current economic crisis is getting worse.

Jobless rate increases

Unemployment is up in 48 states. OK so much for the so called recovery. Folks, we are in a depression, the severe recession was in 2008 when California had an unemployment rate of 8%, now it is nearly 12% and rising.

Remote Viewing the Lotto

Chasing ping pong balls in not an easy task. The currents of air inside a lotto machine can be quite chaotic. However, could we sneak a peek at a future drawing? Skeptics say no - one of the great mysteries is what numbers will pop out in the future, but can we see remote viewing lottery?

Ed Dames, an expert on remote viewing says no. He claims numbers cannot be obtained using RV or remote viewing. Still, I wonder, it would truly be a breath taking thing to see those lottery numbers before it happens.

Astral Time Travel

OK one way to see our future is Astral Time Travel. IT is a way to gain information about events that will soon take place. In fact, using astral projection you can blast out to the future and see what is coming.

Most people who use astral will find that they have a good idea of events that will become news in days ahead. The road ahead is quite rough and bumpy, with many surprises.

cave of night

In the 1950's many people built fall out shelters to shield against radiation. At that time there was fear of WWIII. Today few are aware of how bad things will get - nuclear winter will kill many. Dust clouds filled with radiation are a problem, but John Titor said - more people die of starvation than radiation - how true.

Freedom?

Razor wire I once said that the only difference between school and prison was razor wire. It appears that police states always want to take your liberty away. They say it is to keep you safe and secure.

Truth be told, those who are foolish enough to trade away their freedoms soon find that they are living in a repressive regime. 1984 was a taste of what many see as their daily life in a society that is post consumer.

Police states are always passing laws and making everything illegal. If you take a photo they claim it is for a bad purpose. If you publish anything against them you are arrested for spreading ugly rumors. Freedom of speech is replaced with "hate speech" legislation.

iran ice

Powder keg iran is in flames, but things could get very cold this winter if oil supply is disrupted. This area of the persian gulf produces most of the world's petroleum. There is little support for the present leader which many say is a dictator. There are many similarities with Hugo Chavez or dare I say Kim Jong Il.

more savings

A nation of spenders could turn into a country of savers. Sadly, the dollar is dropping in value, so gold will be what is save. The near $150/barrel price of oil in Aug 2008 drop to a bit over $30/barrel by Jan 2009. This is because people cut back. Folks, we are running out of gas. Expect rising gas prices.

Seattle in trouble

People are suffering as economic woe spreads north. It use to be LA in trouble, then the Silicon Valley. Well, now Seattle has the highest jobless rate in 16 years. Things are so bad even Boeing and Might Microsoft are shedding jobs. Debunkers claim that everything is fine and that the unemployed are lazy. Howeever, the truth is that we are going into a second depression. Unemployment rate is soaring.

oil crisis soon

Gasoline is soon going over $3/gallon. While this may not seem like much of a prediction, it did not seem possible in January of this year when prices were a buck and a half. Actually, reasons are right in front of us. Folks, we are running out of oil.

Back in January when price of oil was in the 30's, any talk of $250/barrel oil seem so foolish. However, now petroleum prices are surging and this will put out any talk of an economic recovery. This because we already got all the easy oil and must now drill the high arctic and other environmentally sensitive regions.

Trouble in bank vaults

A woman told me take all you gold out of the bank vault. She said our gov would confiscate the gold like they did in 1930's and make it illegal to have precious metals. That the banks are in trouble.

OK so is Bank of America in trouble?

People, are we children that our gov can take away our toys? The future seems a bit dark to me. Perhaps, we are moving into a depression. I do not believe all the talk about an economic recovery.

Time is running out

The World Health Organization is going to declare H1N1 virus also known as mexican swine flu as a pandemic. Future historians will recall out time as one which had many interesting events. I warn people that mexican swine flu would become a full scale pandemic.

Please avoid crowded areas and try to be careful. Wash your hand and limit your exposure to high density regions such as restaurants, movie cinemas, etc.

Derivatives Disaster

JP Morgan depends on derivatives for much of its profit, but I foresee a derivatives disaster that will rock the world. This could make the housing bubble look like nothing. Expect things to get much worse.

Foreclosure crisis spreading

Pretty soon a lot of homes will look like abandoned haunted houses, and many small cities will look like ghost towns, because as more people lose jobs, foreclosure crisis is spreading upscale from subprime to luxury.

It used to be that most foreclosures were in the blighted low rent areas of the city, but as our severe economic recession gets worse, we see previous good areas with empty houses. The yards have overgrown lawns and giant weeds. Skeptics say that everything is fine. Well, things are falling apart.

What are ghosts?

Often we hear of people who have left our existence in a tragic fashion coming back as ghosts and haunting houses. That said, what are they? I have found poltergiest activity in my home, such as windows that open by themselves, doors that slam shut suddenly, and even strange sounds at night.

Paranormal researcher Patricia Ress investigates ghosts and strange apparitions. She want to learn what lies beyond. It is her theory that when a person leaves before they were ready to, the astral body or soul will often visit places familiar to them.

It is interesting that most ghosts are around old houses in a poor state of repair. They seldom are seen in new construction. In fact, areas that are abandoned and empty, like "ghost towns" tend to attract them. I believe these are not dead people, but rather energy parasites. That is why you feel a chill around them. The cold is them drawing energy out of you much like a mosquito.

Quest for fire

Today we light a match, but at one time in the distant past, starting a fire took time. If we were to time travel to ancient days we would see a man banging rocks together to get a spark. The idea was to use a spark to ignite kindling. Sadly, it took many hours to get a roaring flame.

However, in our era, you stike a match and instant fire. It take only a few seconds to do what once took hours and hard work, and so it is with technology. Expect that as we move toward tomorrow things that once seem so hard, will be easy.

swine flu on increase

The number of mexican swine flu cases is on increase. I have warn people to stay away from crowds and public places. Try to not go out as much. Although this H1N1 virus kills less than 1% of people who get it, they are often quite sick and feel horrible.

Night Time Drilling

Other paths we did not take

Towerbridge in London by night
When using time travel we often encounter an alternate time line. A speculative subgenre of fantasy fiction wonders what would happen if instead of electricity we had stayed with steam power. Steam powered computers such as the analytical engine developed by Charles Babbage could be doing out calculations. Of course our cars would be power by steam engines, rolling down streets lit by gas lamps.

This is a world where everything has a Victorian era feel, with women wearing long flowery dresses down the cobble stone lanes, while aristocratic gentlemen have a hat and bowtie. However, do these world's exist?

Often spoken of as steam punk, these are worlds where people though electricity was too dangerous so they discourage its use. Tragically, as a consequence they develop slowly.

Where did all the money go?

Money

We spent billions to bail out GM & Chrysler, but they still went under. It was a sad time. And yet, we are not out of the woods yet. US wants to give GM a total of thirty billion more.

Here is a eulogy for our GM. It was once a power house, with over 50% of the market and now a faded shadow of its former glory. There is still talk that the Chevy Volt could SPARK interest in a new GM, but alas, it is too late. Few if any will buy that $40,000 electric car.

Night Flight

Today, a jet with over 200 passengers was lost. A short circuit doomed the plane. Missing plane reported short-circuit before it went down. I can only imagine the fear of the shaking pilot as he stared death in the face, and the screams of the passengers as the wings ripped off and the jet plunged to its death.
