Mcdonalds did great in our great recession. Dollar menus were max pop. Sadly, now prices are going up. Inflation is giving us pain. Always did like the dollar menu. Great news for the poor. In contrast there were no customers inside the blockbuster video store other than me. Five employees were chatting away. Hey, what can we say.

This should not be a major surprise. Blockbuster bankrupt is because it owes over a billion dollars to bond holders and cannot pay. They should have concentrated on renting movies. Instead they tried to push video games. Sadly, this story will soon be over. It was a sad saga anyway.

Well, we know that this month they miss another bond payment because they have no money. However, the biggest problem is empty stores with no consumers. There was a giant line in from of the red box kiosk yesterday due to their free movie give away.

Democrats fear a rep wave in nov. Yeah, a republican wave is coming. This could swamp chances of many democratic incumbents due to voter wrath over new taxes that are squeezing people even more. A storm is brewing and this is no tempest in a teapot for sure. The outlook is for more rain.
