Listen to x minus one. It is an OTR - old time radio space opera. Great to hear how people in the 50's did see the world of tomorrow in an interesting  retro-futuristic sense.  Do wonder on exactly how like in space is. Certainly, it is not as exciting as we see in comics. Boring it is. People will indeed get homesick for earth after many years.
