A radio shack store near my house is no more. Steven Gibbs did on this matter worry. The goal of the HDR users is to make the unit using inexpensive parts that are common. Also, to make manufacture for users easy. This is why Steven Gibbs uses parts from a radio shack that is local instead of expensive hard to get parts that are rare.
