People wonder what the purpose of religion is. Well, it is quite different than science. It dwells on the mysterious and that hidden from our view. If science were the solution our world would not be in the mess it is in. Oh yes, I did say mess. Getting out will not be easy.
Perhaps we need to learn how we got in. Well, it started with the idea that from monkeys we came. OK so we started to act like 'em. Witness sky high rates of teen pregnancy. A world full of violence and crime.
That is what happens when we cut our selves off from the source. Yeah, the source of all that is good and pure. People have stopped acting nice. They have turned evil and vicious. Little children are mean. They do not share with peers.
Well, there are many signs. A tree withers when the root is gone. Religion is our very foundation of our inner core. Take that out and we are empty hollow shells of what we once were.
