OK for many big city newspapers the outlook is very grim. A big bailout for newspapers from congress could help them. That said do they even need one? Well, advertising is down due to a poor economy and without money, most newpapers will close soon.
That happy time of reading the newspaper early in the morning could become yet another fond memory. I see electronic internet based newspapers taking on the role of the dailies in the near term.
