Losing the war

Citizens, in unemployment we are losing a war. I do not blame our gov. People, we cannot compete with 50 cents an hour from asia. Businesses relocate to get the lower wages. OK, as a result, there are no jobs for us. Look at all the jobs in health care. That is because they cannot be out source. Other wise those jobs would also be gone.

jobs are necessary

Folks, creating jobs is necessary. There is no such thing as a job less recovery. Without full time employment people do not have money. That is what they need to start buying again. Like I said before, jobs are necessary.

GM going bankrupt was bad for us. Let us face some facts as a sputtering economic engine saps earnings. There were a lot of companies that GM could not pay. They had to take the hit and keep going. Sadly, many had to fire workers and cut back on plans for expansion.

Plenty of jobs

They say there is a state with plenty of jobs, but few rooms. Don't get your hopes up. It is North Dakota a place that is cold when most are warm. Another option would we to time travel to the 1950's. Still, North Dakota is better than nothing, but I do doubt that the jobs are many. I was told there were few jobs by a girl from that area. However, Steven Gibbs did tell me that he had once worked in South Dakota in a meat packing plant when he was young.

Jobless claims rise

There is a dramatic dive in sales as jobless claims are up. Actually, the two are related, because as more people lose jobs there are fewer customers.
